Prior to opening the Busselton office, Oban had completed a number of projects in the Southwest, and we always knew that if we were to be successful in the region, we would have to open an office, employ local people and become part of the community.
We chose Busselton due to its location in the region and felt that the city was developing and expanding which presents a number of opportunities directly and indirectly for our business. Being a local in the region also provided us with an advantage when tendering on works with organisations that have local content and buy local policies.
Since Oban’s business inception in Busselton, our business has provided significant benefits to the local economy. Money has been kept in the region by employing local staff and contractors, as well as the investment in an office, vehicles and other tools to operate and run a business. Having sustainable and strong small businesses is critical to the success and development of regional cities and towns.
Our office is centrally located in Unit 7, 8-10 Prince Street, Busselton (just off Queen St).
